Chapter 33: Shattered Heart

Violet walked and walked. She passed by her house. She just kept walking. She did not want to get into the house and have to answer any questions her father may throw at her. She needed to regain her equilibrium. Her heart was beating frantically and the pain was too much for her to bear. She stopped and held on to a post, breathing heavily. It felt as though she was dying, her heart had exploded within her and shattered into a million pieces. She stayed that way for a long time.
