Jeremy walked out of his daughter's room deep in thought. He had tried to reassure her that everything was going to be okay and had covered her with sheets in the bed. He prayed that Violet would not do anything stupid. What was all this? He had had the premonition that something like this was going to happen. He had asked his daughter not to blame Damien but why shouldn't she? If Damien had known that Violet was still in London, and had met her twin sister, Viol when he had gone to visit her, then how couldn't he have known that he was with the wrong twin no matter how difficult it was to tell them apart?
