Chapter 21: Not Caring Anymore
“There's no special drink at home—would bottled water be alright?” Chloe asked.
“Of course,” Wyatt replied.
Living alone, Chloe didn’t keep many supplies around, so she just offered what she had. Wyatt, being easygoing, accepted it all without complaint.
Chloe had planned a decent meal for herself tonight, and though she didn’t expect company, having someone to share dinner with was a nice surprise. Eating with someone was better than eating alone, after all.
“I noticed you made a mistake on one of your practice questions earlier,” Wyatt mentioned casually. “That particular question probably gave you some trouble since it involves a bit of physics.”
Chloe smiled sheepishly. She had indeed been doing a lot of practice problems earlier in the day, and though she hadn’t had time to review them yet, it seemed Wyatt had already glanced through her work. She knew which question he was referring to—it had been tricky for her.
