Chapter 55—

With eyes that held an indescribable amount of joy, Lexie looked around, heart buried deep in a pit of felicity, mind lost in the midst of a world of pure bliss. She felt home, felt prideful, felt happy, felt free. She felt as if the invisible shackles that had held onto her hands and feet had disappeared, felt as though she had finally stepped out of her prison cell. But how ironic it was that the person who had restrained her, the same man who had locked her in that cell was the person to let her out. He had twisted his key, pulled the door open and had held her hand and led her on an adventure. On their path, he made her feel numerous emotions, fear, sadness, lust, anger and the most favourable of all, he made her feel happy. On their path, he had converted, changed from a man who only wore black to one fully clothed in white. On their path, he had made her feel lost, but sometime along the way, he had taken her in his arms and made her feel loved. On their path, they had evolved fr
