20 minutes later, Theo's car pulled up outside Jemima's house.
The detached villas, a harmonious blend of local and foreign architectural styles, exuded a quiet sophistication.
Sierra stepped out of the car, her grip tightening on her purse as a wave of nervousness washed over her.
Theo retrieved a gift box from the trunk and turned to see her standing motionless, her posture rigid and her gaze restless.
"Want to back out?"
She bit her lip and shook her head. "No… Let's go."
As they walked into the yard, the sound of a piano filled the air. The music was ethereal, like a soft breeze brushing past her skin, like a gentle drizzle soaking into her soul.
