Chapter TWENTY SIX

The words of Xavier indicated that he would be eating the meals she prepared from now on. It felt like running the ten-kilometer race and passing by the first kilometer. It seemed small and insignificant because she still had a long way to go before they both became comfortable enough to address each other as friends but she felt elated and happy at least now it showed he that he trusted her.   "And dinner too?"
