"Why don't you call Jessica?"   "Why, I thought you said they were on honeymoon and that I should not call them no matter what happens?" Leslie asked.   She was preparing to go have lunch with some ladies. Alicia had invited them to treat them and thank them for coming and bringing their partners to her event.   She sat on the stool close to the vanity table as she attempted to carry out the task of putting on her make-up by herself.   "I just received a call from Xavier," Brian said wiggling his phone in the air. Leslie watched him from the mirror.   "I know very well that Mr. Delgado would be unable to stay away from work," she said with a bitter taste in her mouth as she said, Delgado. She pitied Jessica for ending up with someone who did not care for others.   "Funnily he did not call for work, he asked strange questions" Brian sat down confused and trying to decipher the questions he had been asked.
