"Do you want chocolate donuts?" Blake asks, faking concern as he holds my hand and pats the back of it slowly, letting me know I'm doing a good job. I hum as mom stares at me with a raised eyebrow. "I guess she can go get some herself," Mom says and I smile. Nothing like chocolate donuts to make a girl feel better. I stand up quickly and dad raises an eyebrow at me. "You suddenly feel better," he points out. "You suddenly became the best father ever!" Blake replies and I look down at him, laughter leaving my lips as he grabs my hand tightly, "Let's go Beth!" He pulls me after him as our parents laugh. I stop as I see Daniel with the door opened and Ashton standing next to him as they eye Jaxon up. Jaxon's eyes meet mine and they darken a little. "Hi…" I slowly say as I walk closer. Blake holds on my hand tightly and pulls me back. "No Beth," he whispers.
