Edward’s gaze darkened, laced with sarcasm. “So, what exactly do you two call this relationship?” Gina Hayes clutched Anthony Hayes’ sleeve, confused. “We’re obviously a couple. That question’s kinda weird.” Anthony gently placed his hand over hers to calm her down, just about to defend her, when Edward let out a cold chuckle. His deep, dark eyes sharpened with disdain. “A couple? That word’s too good for you.” Gina's face flushed with embarrassment—no one had talked to her like that before. “You—” Anthony quickly pulled her behind him and faced Edward head-on, anger flickering over his refined features. “You got issues, man? Say what you want to me, but don’t drag a woman into it. And seriously, who the hell do you think you are?” He’d seen people act tough, but this was something else. The disgust in Edward’s eyes when he looked at Anthony was blatant. “Coming from someone like you—who treats love like a game—you wanna talk about not bullying women?” William swallowed nervously, worr
