Theodore’s POV I was jerked out of sleep by the sound of our bedroom door slamming open. Bolting upright, I quickly assessed that Violet was in bed next to me as I reached for my bedside lamp. When I flicked it on, the light revealed Riley striding into our bedroom. “Riley?” I questioned, my voice raspy with sleep. I was irritated by his barging in, especially because of how hard it has been for Violet to sleep. She has been so afraid of having another hallucination in her dreams that when she has managed to fall asleep, I have done everything I could to avoid waking her. But Riley didn’t pay me any attention as he headed straight for Violet’s side of the bed, and I understood immediately what was happening.
