Chapter 132
Matteo’s POV
The six months that passed felt rushed and blurred. The hypnotherapy session somehow worked. My mind was still a maze of fragmented memories, disconnected and messy. But I could feel the memories now. At least a bit closer than before.
It was distorted. The sequence was messy. They weren’t whole, but at least they’re going back. Piece by piece. And I have to arrange the sequence in my head, like a puzzle.
Some memories are like waves, they come to me in fast rhythm. Some are like faint whispers, slow and calm.
Faces, still a bit blurry. Voices, soft and sharp. Names overlapped.
Everything and everyone that’s connected with her is slowly coming back to me. But not her. It’s still a progress, right?
James was helping me whenever I remember a memory. He would tell me when it happened, if he knew. Who was involved? What did I feel?
For six months, I kept going.
