Giselle froze for a moment, then asked uncertainly, "What do you mean by that? Weren't you the one who said this baby should be aborted?"
Elijah did want the baby gone, but he couldn't help thinking she seemed a little too eager. He wondered if she thought the baby was useless now that she had latched onto him.
His face grew even darker at that thought.
Unaware of the nonsense Elijah was imagining, Giselle let out a helpless sigh.
Elijah's mind was as unfathomable as the depth of the sea. She couldn't figure him out.
"When the time comes, I'll naturally have you get rid of it. You'd better not let Grandma catch even the slightest hint that you want to abort the baby."
With that, Elijah turned around and left with a grim face.
Watching his back, Giselle smiled bitterly. She caressed her belly, a wild idea slowly taking shape in her mind.
