"I've been waiting for this day to come since forever. Let's stick to the date your mother chose before she passed. There won't be any changes."
The date my mother picked was next month. It was supposed to be the day I married Landon.
Now that the ginger tea had warmed me up, tears stung my eyes.
The next day, Dylan brought me everything I needed for the wedding and laid them out for me to go through one by one.
I had assumed that we wouldn't have anything prepared with such short notice and figured we might have to fall back on old plans. But to my surprise, Dylan had already taken care of everything, and there was nothing I needed to worry about. It showed how much he valued me.
Despite being in a relationship for five years, Landon wouldn't have proposed if I hadn't pushed for marriage.
I had handled every detail of the wedding by myself. That fact alone made it painfully obvious whether Landon loved me or not. The thought made me call the wedding planners I had hired to call
