Chapter 829 Trembled With Anger
James saw the hatred in Tamara’s eyes. He laughed without warning. “I wonder if this was how your father threatened your mother back then.”
Tamara gritted her teeth and released James. She gave him a cold stare.
She will not go down her mother’s path.
James smoothed over the creases. “Let’s head back.”
Tamara turned and left for the car. She did not spare another glance at James.
Back at the hotel, Tamara took out her room key and opened her door. James pushed the door open just when she was about to slam it shut behind her.
Tamara stared blankly at him. “Fuck off.”
James returned her stare. “Let me in.”
Tamara cracked her knuckles.
“I don’t wish to fight you, James. Don’t push your luck,” said Tamara through gritted teeth.
Just another day, and she would get the antidote. Better yet, the lab would make the antidote.
Tamara had to stay rational. James observed Tamara’s hate-filled face. His face fell. “You will be my wife tomorrow, Tamara. Why are you still like this? Do you want to kill me? Don’t you want the antidote?”
Tamara shut her eyes. “And? Why are YOU in a rush? We’re getting married tomorrow.”
James swallowed hard. He suddenly grinned, “Fine. The night will come to an end soon anyway.”
James took back his hand.
In the next second, Tamara slammed the door shut.
It almost hit James by his nose. James narrowed his eyes dangerously. He took out his phone and made a call. “How’s the preparation coming along?”
“Mr. Gladwell, the Lane family had completely taken over the Zimmerman family. Shall we proceed with the plan?” informed the man.
James glanced out the window darkly. “Kill Sebastian. Give me his head. I want it by tonight. He will be a good wedding gift.”
“Yes sir,” complied the man.
The call ended. James stood on the balcony, allowing the cool breeze to blow past him. The cold didn’t bother him. He closed his eyes and took it all in.
…
In the room next door.
Tamara was trembling with anger. She took off her Bluetooth earphone and gritted her teeth.
James was planning to kill Sebastian! How could he?
The reason why Tamara wasn’t opposed to eating in his room was so that she could put the Bluetooth device in his room.
She was glad she did.
The device was small. James would never notice it.
Tamara squeezed her eyes shut and willed herself to calm down, but the anger inside her was still raging. All she could think about was storming into the next room and throttling James.
No! Just a little while longer!
Tamara pinched her legs and allowed the pain to course through her. It was the only way for her to keep a level head.
She switched on her laptop and opened Nammu Bay’s map. When she saw Adrian’s men capturing Eric, Tamara grew serious.
She exited the Lane family’s system and started searching for her men. She soon got in contact with them.
They were disguised as dock workers.
“I’ll send you a copy of the Lane family’s security system. Use that to your advantage and infiltrate their place. Save the Zimmerman family and join hands with them,” ordered Tamara.
“Yes, Miss Tammy.” The Moore family’s men had been awaiting orders. They moved out once they received it.
“Remember. Be quick and be swift. You have to join hands with the Zimmerman family by midnight,” muttered Tamara worriedly.
