Chapter 835 I’ll Take You Away
There was a bloodied head inside the box!
James saw Tamara’s discomfort and smiled twistedly, “That head belongs to Sebastian!”
Tamara couldn’t bring herself to look at the box. She shook her head in denial. “No! It can’t be Sebastian!”
James smiled through his pain. “I wanted to save this for our honeymoon, but I’m fucking pissed that you didn’t let us finish our wedding…”
The scented tea leaves were losing their effects. James’ pain had been significantly reduced.
He slowly limped closer to Tamara and ordered his men to release her. He pulled Tamara up by her hair.
Tamara hissed out in pain and was forced into a kneeling position.
James tilted her head up and stared darkly at her, “You disappoint me, Tamara.”
James kicked the box away. “Since you refuse to marry me, you can join him in hell.”
With that, James wrapped his hands around Tamara’s neck and started choking her.
The pain around Tamara’s neck was too much for her. She was finding it hard to breathe as she gasped for air. Her eyes widened, and she looked like a fish out of the water.
James grinned darkly. He watched as Tamara’s face turned green. If he applied any more pressure, Tamara would surely die.
But he couldn’t bear seeing Tamara suffer.
James released his hold on her. He watched as Tamara sucked in greedy breaths. With trembling hands, James cupped Tamara’s face.
“I’m sorry, I’m sorry, sorry, sorry…I didn’t mean to kill you. I love you, Tamara. I fucking love you. I love you more than Sebastian does!” roared Sebastian. A pained expression replaced the twisted look he had. “So why don’t you love me?”
“I would die for you! SO WHY DON’T YOU LOVE ME?!” James was on the verge of madness. His twisted sense of love had driven him over the edge.
Tamara finally regained her breath. She sneered cruelly at James, “No. You don’t know what love is.”
James pulled Tamara into his embrace. “I love you, Tamara.”
His heartfelt confession was the tipping point. In the very next second, James started bawling his eyes out.
Tamara struggled against him. But with her hands tied, there was nothing she could do to break free from his hold!
Disgusting!
A man rushed over to report, “Mr. Gladwell, I’m afraid I have some bad news. Several ships have just docked, and an army of men is heading our way.”
The church was close to the beach, with just a distance of approximately one and a half miles separating the two. It was only a matter of time before the men would arrive.
Tamara’s eyes shone with hope. Her men had arrived!
James released her. Upon seeing Tamara’s new-found hope, he grabbed her by the arm and pulled her up.
“I’m taking you away, Tamara. Let’s find a place where nobody knows us and start anew.” James was drenched in blood, and the colors had drained from his face. Still, he held onto Tamara’s arm tightly.
Tamara glared at him. “Why are you still being so stubborn, James? There’s no escape! Do you want to continue going down the wrong path?”
James ignored her and dragged her out. There was already a car waiting for them outside.
James pushed Tamara into the car before he got in himself. He ordered the driver to bring them to the other dock.
The two docks were quite close to each other. If they rushed over right now, James could still leave this place with Tamara.
“Let me go!” Tamara fought with even greater force, the rope cutting into her skin. She pounded her shoulders against the car door, desperate to escape James. She couldn’t bear to spend another second in his company.
James pressed her down and leaned in. “Once we leave this godforsaken island, I’ll give you a new wedding. It will be perfect this time, Tamara. We can finally be one.”
James smiled absentmindedly and kissed Tamara’s cheeks.
Suddenly, a loud gunshot echoed through the air. It hit the car’s tire. The driver lost control of the vehicle, spiraling across the road!
