James tore the gun away from Tamara’s hands and threw it aside. “You!” Tamara was furious. She punched James in the chest, but the bulletproof vest only brought pain to her. James’ gaze softened. “Come on. Don’t be like that. This is my specially-made bulletproof vest. It would only hurt you if you hit me.” Tamara put on an indifferent look. He might be wearing a bulletproof vest, but what about his lower body? Tamara kicked him where the sun didn’t shine. James’ face twisted in pain. Tamara focused all her attention on James’ lower body. James, however, focused his attention on Tamara’s upper body. Even though he was heavily wounded, his actions did not affect his performance. If anything, it only spurred him on. Tamara was shocked by his pain tolerance. She had to put her defenses up! James slammed Tamara into the ground. As soon as Tamara’s body hit contact with the floor, it let out a loud bang. James sighed at Tamara, “I know you’re good at martial arts, Tamara. But you’re no match for me. So just be a good girl and finish the wedding with me, okay?” Tamara’s eyes reddened with pain. She held a hand out to him. James cocked a brow. He thought she was admitting defeat, so he reached out to help her up. Just as Tamara got up from the ground, a weird smell washed over James. James immediately knew something was up, but it was too late. He frowned at Tamara. “You used your scented tea leaves on me!” Tamara swung his hand away. She glared coldly at him. “I knew I couldn’t win against you. But strength isn’t everything. I know you have good pain tolerance and strong mental strength to boot, so I made these special scented tea leaves for you. I took great care in making sure it would destroy your nerves.” Since Tamara bore witness to James’ incredible mental strength, she had been conjuring up some scented tea leaves to fight against him. That was when she got the idea. She had to destroy his nerves. As long as he took one whiff of the tea leaves, it would numb his nerves and even mess with them. Pain and happiness, twitches and spasms, incredible pain and unbearable itch—every one of these sensations and emotions raced through him unfiltered. It even wrecked his spinal cords, rendering him immobile! “I prepared these scented tea leaves in your room. Heck! I did it right in front of you! But I’ve never experimented with it. Let’s see how good it is together!” Tamara stated as she watched James suffer. In the next second, a few men pounced at her. “Give me the antidote!” James glared at Tamara. Tamara snorted, “There is no antidote.” The few men swung at Tamara. Even though Tamara was no match for James, these puny men were nothing to her. However, there were just too many of them. No matter how hard she fought, more kept coming. In the end, she was held down by three men. They twisted her arms behind her and pressed her face against the floor. Tamara kept her eyes on James. He was rolling around the floor in agony as his muscles twitched in pain. He didn’t have the strength to stand anymore! Tamara burst out laughing. “Do you finally know what pain is, James? Everything you have put me through, I’m returning it to you tenfold!” “Is…is that so…” James was finding it hard to speak. “You don’t wish to marry me…but you can’t marry Sebastian either. He’s…dead…” James signaled his men, and one of them brought over a box. The man put it in front of Tamara and opened it. When Tamara saw the bloodied head, she threw up in disgust!
