Chapter 840 Won’t Disturb You

James had escaped! Shit! The security here was tight, and he was injured! How did he manage to escape? Sebastian’s face darkened. “Check the surveillance cameras. How did he escape?” The bodyguard felt shivers running down his spine. He wiped away his cold sweat. “When we came to bring him food, we noticed he was unconscious. So I asked my buddy to keep watch over him, and I left to get a doctor. But when I returned, my buddy was knocked out, and James was nowhere to be found.” “Were you the only two keeping watch over him?” Sebastian narrowed his eyes. “No…no. We have a few other people. But James was fast, and he knew these streets well. We lost him during the chase.” The bodyguard swallowed hard. “You useless piece of shit!” cursed Sebastian. He gave the bodyguard a cold glance. “Get the fuck out of my sight.” The bodyguard immediately left to continue searching. Tamara and Helena exchanged a look. “Where could James possibly escape to?” Helena found herself asking. She despised James. She wouldn’t have had that near-death experience if it weren’t for him. She had literally crawled back from hell. Tamara frowned. She gave it a thought. “Increase the security around the docks. He has many men on Biarus. Some of them might aid his escape.” Sebastian nodded and gave out the orders. Since James had escaped, the trio returned to their room. Helena went to Tamara’s room and sat beside her. “Sorry for the trouble, Tammy.” When Helena first called Tamara, Tamara had advised against her involvement. She told Helena this was too dangerous and that Helena might get hurt. But Helena insisted on tagging along. Even if she couldn’t kill James, she was satisfied with being able to hurt him. Tamara smiled, “Nonsense. I’m grateful you’re in good shape. I am also thankful you’re lending me a helping hand. If it weren’t for you, I might have to wear the wedding dress.” “Now that I think about it, I owe you an apology, too.” Tamara swore she would only put on a wedding dress for Sebastian. Even if Helena weren’t here, she would think of a way to avoid wearing the dress. Helena shook her head. “Let’s both stop with the apologies. We’re friends, and friends are supposed to help each other out.” “You’re right,” smiled Tamara. She suddenly felt a pair of eyes on her. Tamara turned her head unconsciously. She met Sebastian’s gaze. She smiled faintly before turning back to Helena. “You’re still recovering. I think it’s time for you to get some rest.” Helena noticed Sebastian’s gaze. She let out a knowing smile. “Haha. Even if I wasn’t hurt, I still had to leave. Don’t let me waste any more of your precious alone time. Goodbye.” With that, Helena left the room. Tamara sent her off. When she returned, she saw Sebastian giving her a longing look. Tamara crept closer to him and leaned down. She tilted his head up. “What’s wrong? Don’t tell me you’re jealous of Helena.” Sebastian observed Tamara. She was as elegant and noble as a queen. Her eyes glistened, and she looked even more seductive than usual. Sebastian pulled her into his arms. “I’m jealous of anyone who takes up your time regardless of their gender.” Tamara paused. She was amazed by Sebastian’s possessiveness. Tamara giggled. This was indeed the domineering and possessive Sebastian she came to love. “It’s a promise, then. You have to keep me close.” Tamara pulled him in and trailed kissed up his chin.
