Cameron had sent so many bodyguards to the apartment that there was barely a corner left uncovered. Once Macie stepped into her bedroom, she locked the door behind her and finally let her shoulders drop. She went to the bedside table, slid open a hidden compartment, and pulled out a backup phone.
