"Zoe! W-What happened to you?" Zoe's face was littered with bruises, and one eye was completely swollen shut. She took off her cap, revealing dried patches of blood on her head. Some parts were also noticeably missing hair. Teresa hurried toward her and demanded furiously, "Did that bastard Ian do this to you?" Zoe didn't cry as she nodded. "Yeah." Disappointment had long since chilled her heart, yet she just refused to leave. She was already considered lucky for not losing her life after insisting on staying by such a demon's side. Furrowing her brow, Teresa spun around to grab her phone. "I'm calling the police." However, Zoe stopped her by the arm. "Could you tend to my wounds first?" Exasperated but left with no other choice, Teresa could only agree. Once Teresa had tended to Zoe's head wounds, she moved to take off her gloves. However, at that moment, Zoe rolled up her sleeve to reveal blood and countless bruises dotting her once fair and smooth arm. It was a horrifying si
