Chapter 187
"How did you know? Have you seen him?" Wesley was surprised, but soon a look of anticipation appeared on his face.
Leroy nodded. "I checked on him tonight. Mr. Myer Senior's condition is quite stable."
As soon as Leroy finished speaking, Wesley immediately grabbed him. "You kid, how could you not tell me about something so important? Come with me right now!"
With that, Wesley quickly dragged Leroy to the conference room. Leroy was puzzled but had no choice but to follow Wesley.
Upon seeing this, Leroy's eyes were filled with confusion. Inside the conference room, Wesley began contacting all the doctors and department heads at the hospital.
Leroy felt uneasy. "Mr. Moore, what are you doing? Shouldn't everyone be asleep at this hour?"
Leroy was worried about the schedules of the department heads, especially since they were older. If something happened, it wouldn't be good.
But Wesley wasn't concerned. He simply waved his hand. "Don't worry. They'll be here soon."
Wesley's face was filled with excitement. Leroy could only wait quietly by his side.
In under half an hour, the hospital's top medical team had all convened. As Leroy faced the five department directors in front of him, he was momentarily at a loss for words.
"Do you guys ever sleep at this time?" Leroy couldn't help but grumble. Wesley just grinned in response.
"No, Leroy, you have it wrong. You are the only one who has seen Mr. Myer Senior. Please tell us everything that happened," Wesley urged eagerly, and the others nodded in agreement.
All eyes were fixed attentively on Leroy.
Feeling the weight of the situation, Leroy took it upon himself to explain everything to Wesley, who was still in the dark. After hearing Leroy's perspective, Wesley fell into a pensive state.
"Is there a 60% chance of success if Mr. Myer Senior visits the hospital?" Wesley asked eagerly, his eyes fixed on Leroy.
Leroy took a moment to think before nodding gravely.
"In that case, I'll handle negotiations with the Myer family. You need to stay at the hospital and not leave under any circumstances," Wesley declared firmly. Leroy agreed without hesitation.
Conveniently, Leroy had been dreading returning to the villa, but now he had a valid excuse.
"Mr. Moore, it's time for you to explain what is really going on here," Leroy demanded.
Wesley let out a sigh in response to Leroy's question.
"Leroy, you may not be aware of the Myer family's international business dealings. Their primary focus is on medical machinery. And if we can secure their support, imagine the benefits it could bring to our hospital."
Wesley stated his thoughts bluntly, but Leroy didn't seem deterred. Instead, he simply nodded his head.
"I will do my best to persuade them, Mr. Moore," Leroy responded determinedly.
Leroy's words brought a sense of relief to Wesley.
"That's exactly what I was hoping you would say. Don't leave tonight. Let's work out a preliminary plan together and be prepared."
Leroy was caught off guard by Wesley's urgency. He had never expected him to be in such a rush. The Myer family must truly have something special if Wesley was this eager to move forward.
As this thought crossed his mind, Leroy felt a strange sensation in his heart. Could Scarlett have found another way to approach the Myer family?
He quickly pushed away the thought. Scarlett was too proud to use underhanded methods. She wouldn't stoop so low. By the time he snapped out of his thoughts, Wesley had already begun their discussion.
