Life got so hectic for Clara that she barely had time to think about Eugene anymore.
That day, Eugene was halfway through a business dinner with some bigwig CEOs when his phone buzzed. It was a call from Old Mr. Collins, ordering him to come home right away.
Before he even stepped through the door, the scolding had already started. "Eugene, you little brat! What the hell happened between you and Clara?"
