After offering incense, Callie moved to the side, where numerous scriptures written by descendants of the O’Connor family were placed.
Her eyes quickly caught a familiar handwriting—bold and unrestrained—it was Nelson’s.
She reached out, picked up the scripture, and noticed it was a complete chant for the departed, written with an unusual patience that wasn’t like him. Flipping through, she found the last page, dated a year ago.
