Zoe's face was streaked with tears as she stood before Elliot. "Elliot, please let me explain. I only did all of that to Mabel because I love you too much. I was worried that you would fall for her. The two of you were married, after all. If you'd really fallen for her, I would've never had the right to seek you out again."
