Roxanne felt the awkwardness in the air as she forced a smile. She turned to Zachary and said, "Thank you so much for coming to get me. I really appreciate it. "I'll treat you to dinner sometime when I get the chance. I'll head back now, and you should get going, too. Sorry for bothering you so late." Zachary nodded. "It's no trouble at all. If you ever need anything, you can always reach out to me. Let me know when you get home safe." "Thanks, Zachary. Goodbye," Roxanne replied. "Goodbye," he said with a smile. Roxanne didn't want to get into Sebastian's car, but since he was already here, there was no point in making things more awkward. Lately, Sebastian had been acting strange, and she didn't want to get into a pointless argument. Since they were both heading back, she decided to just go along with it.
