Chase didn't give up. After I blocked him, he came straight to StarPath Technology's building. He stood at the entrance with a big bouquet of roses in hand, attracting a crowd of onlookers. I was discussing the new project's details with Zayn when the receptionist notified me through the intercom. Zayn frowned. "Should I have security remove him?" I shook my head. "No. I'll go talk to him myself." I stepped into the lobby to see Chase standing outside through the glass doors. His eyes lit up the moment he caught sight of me. He rushed forward, only to be stopped by the building's security system. So, he could only press his face against the glass, his voice hoarse as he shouted, "Just let me talk to you, Willow. I'm begging you!" I held down the intercom button and said icily, "Stop harassing me, Chase. There's nothing left between us the second you let Ashley pour boiling water on me. "We were done for good when you trampled on my dignity over a 30-thousand-dollar fine. When
