The morning sun poured through the open curtains, lighting up the white sheets and the soft curve of Logan’s bare shoulder. I lay there for a moment, perfectly still, not wanting to wake him. But mostly, I didn’t want to move because my body still tingled from the night before. Heat rushed to my cheeks as memories came flooding in—his hands tangled in my hair, our bodies pressed together on the warm sand, the way the waves kissed our skin while we moved under the stars. It had been wild, tender, and deeper than anything I’d ever known. A part of me still couldn’t believe it really happened. I shifted slightly, just enough to press my lips to his shoulder. Logan stirred, but didn’t open his eyes. “You’re kissing me awake now? I could get used to that.” I smiled into his skin. “You deserve it.” He turned slowly, one arm curling around my waist. His eyes were still half-closed, his voice thick with sleep. “Are you blushing?” “No,” I lied quickly. He chuckled, eyes now gleaming. “You are.
