For some reason, I didn't doubt anything Gabrielle said. I just trusted her without question. She led me straight to the wine cellar. When she opened the door, I was so stunned that my mouth dropped open. "Is this a winery?" I asked in disbelief. Gabrielle smiled. "You really forgot everything. There was a time when you and Jonathan were close. He personally taught you how to make wine. This winery was even designed especially for you." Her words felt distant and strange to me. I rubbed my temples. "Didn't you say we didn't get along? I almost tried to kill myself because of him. How could we have been close?" Gabrielle's eyes flickered for a moment before she composed herself and said, "That was right after you got married. You two were doing well back then. It wasn't until Alicia showed up that the fights began." She paused, then added, "Honestly, that makes sense. If you hadn't liked each other at all in the beginning, you wouldn't have gotten married." "I really want to kno
