Most of Cassandra's classmates knew she had "married into money", so Javier's first assumption was that she was on vacation. Cassandra smiled and said, "No, I'm here for a job interview." "Did your husband agree to that?" Javier asked. She replied, "This is my decision. He has no say in it." He gave a helpless chuckle. "Had a fight, did you?" "Not at all. What about you, Professor Myers? Are you here on vacation?" Javier shrugged. "As if I could afford a place like this. There's an academic summit happening soon in Stokelle, and this is where the guests are staying. I'm representing the college to help host them." Cassandra nodded. "I see." "Alright then. Time's running, and I can't keep them waiting. I'll head up first." "Sure," she said. After saying goodbye to Javier, Cassandra's name was called not long after, and she headed in for the interview.
