"She'll come," Riley said quietly, but he didn't sound convinced about what he was saying. It was almost like he was trying to convince himself more than he needed to convince us.

"The hospital doesn't allow visitors to come on to see their loved ones after hours. Even if she wanted to come back tonight, they wouldn't let her in until morning."
