"I was just curious, what's the hurry, sis?" Pausing for a moment, Mia looked up and scanned the surroundings. "Isn't mom back yet?" Dorothy simply ignored her. "When I came in just now, I saw a car outside. I thought mom had returned." Murmuring silently, Mia went to the stairs after replacing her shoes.
