The temperature in the music room spiked fast. It took a solid two hours for things to cool down. Lilah and Gabriel got themselves straightened up and headed out. As they left, Gabriel especially told the housekeeper to go clean up the place. Lilah, cheeks still flushed, picked up her pace. Before they even got far, her phone rang. She froze. Pulling it out, she saw it was from her brother. She answered right away. Damien's calm voice came through, "Sis, Clara's at the hospital. Seems like something really shook her. You might wanna come check on her." "What? Clara's in the hospital?" Lilah's face changed in a flash. Damien added, "Yeah, and Ethan is with her now, but honestly... man's not exactly the comforting type." That guy was as awkward as they come when it came to emotional stuff—comforting someone? Not happening. "Got it. I'm on my way." After hanging up, Lilah turned to Gabriel. He looked mildly concerned. "What happened to her?" "Not sure. My brother didn't give details... I
