Scarlett’s POV: Alicia had been waiting at the hotel entrance. Spotting me approaching, she stubbed out her half-smoked cigarette and tossed it into the trash bin. I walked over and hooked my arm through hers. “While I don’t discriminate against women who smoke, for the sake of your health, I still have to advise you to cut back.” Alicia laughed heartily. “Sure thing.” The two of us walked into the hotel without waiting for the others behind us.
