Nancy woke to warmth all around her. A soft mattress, fresh sheets, and a thin cashmere blanket draped over her.
It was a world apart from that cold, damp dungeon.
She pushed herself up and glanced around. The guest room was spacious and bright, decorated with understated luxury.
