Only a handful of people knew about what had happened. So how did news of it suddenly leak? Feeling strangely uneasy, Stephen bought the earliest flight ticket home. Someone had sold information about Stephen's whereabouts to the media at a high price. The reporters were already camping outside the boarding ramp when his plane arrived. Their eyes lit up the moment they saw him. Stephen was shocked by the sudden commotion, and he was unable to stop them as they swarmed him in a matter of seconds, nearly suffocating him. Someone reached out in the midst of the chaos and grabbed onto the lucky charm bracelet on Stephen's wrist. It immediately snapped, and the beads scattered all over the ground. "Lucy!" Stephen cried. He nearly stopped breathing. His face was an ugly shade of green as he ignored all else and crouched down to pick up what was left of the bracelet. But there were too many people.
