Camila’s pov
The city seemed below average in temperature. Perhaps that was only my perspective.
I kept peering over my shoulder as I headed toward the alley behind the former fish market. My heart pounded so intensely that I vowed to keep it away from the brick walls. The place smelled like rotting fish guts and oil dead things. With every step, I crushed glass in my boots.
