Their moment was interrupted by the waitress returning with their coffees. As she set them down, Cassie noticed a burly trucker at the counter watching them intently. "Florian," she whispered urgently. "That man is staring at us." Florian glanced over casually, then stiffened. "Shit. He must have recognized me. We need to leave. Now."
