Chapter 129: Ban

Diana Lazarus looked around the room and met my eyes. "Strange thing, you see," he said softly, catching everyone's attention. "Being expected, being the one who knows all but cannot change it. You see, the humans call it this. They would say that someone who has seen the movie countless times cannot spoil it for anyone. But it's different," Lazarus said. "It's different being the one who can see the future but cannot change it. I've played my part in this multiple times. Unfortunately, this wouldn't be the first time such a thing has happened." He continued, "You see, Alpha Sky, your grandfather David was very much like this. There were many things I told him to prepare for, and instead of preparing, he tried to avoid them. Avoiding it only made it come to pass. He nearly lost the pack because of a succession battle. I warned him against it, but everybody blamed him for his actions."
