chapter Eighty-six

I wake up disoriented again, having lost time. I struggled to open my eyes even as the headache attacked me from all sides. My body ached and my heart too. The darkness tried to lure me back in and I succumbed. I jolted awake when I felt the water penetrate my body. I shivered. My eyes zeroed in on Alice who had a satisfied grin on her lips. "What did you do that for?" I asked. "It was fun watching you try to stay conscious. I was only trying to help." she sneered. I sighed to myself. I brought this on to myself. No one to blame but me. "It's time for you to eat. We may want you dead but my boss doesn't," she said. My senses heightened. They are working with someone? "Your boss?" I asked. She ignored me as she hummed happily to herself. She brought a plate of food that looked like someone threw up on it. I started to shake my head, "No," "I wasn't giving you much of a choice," Alice said. She force-fed me till I threw up on my body. She slapped me and then laughed at the mess I made. H
