Chapter 11: I'm Sorry

Alice's POV The rest of that day had gone plainly. Or that's what I thought. The clock almost screamed that my office hours for the day were already finished and I could go home to cook dinner for my brother. I promised him to cook Chicken Adobo with pineapple bits. A Filipino dish we both came to love when one of his Asian friends visit our home and let us tasted heaven. It was different from our usual food and we loved the flavor. It's been months since we craved for it but didn't had the actual time to cook it because of some work stuff the both of us had. I gathered my things and went down the lobby. The company building was almost empty. The hallways were quieter than usual. It weirded me out. And speaking of weird, I haven't seen Seth since we had that awkward moment at the conference room. He had been working all day. I mean, I've been inside his office on the whole day with him but we hadn't spoke more than necessary aside from what was written on the job description. I've
