Edward tapped the play button on his phone, and out of nowhere, a goofy cartoon cat popped up, wiggling across the screen with over-the-top sound effects. "Hahaha!" He burst out laughing. "Charles, check this cat out! Hilarious, right?" The whole room instantly turned stiff. Isabelle's face went from pale to red in seconds, and she looked like she was about to explode. That psycho actually had the nerve to mess with her like this—she'd just about had a heart attack. Stella rolled her eyes and turned to leave. "Lame." "Hold up!" Edward grabbed her wrist. "Stella, don't be in such a rush—the fun's just getting started." He leaned over, close to Stella's ear, and whispered, "Look at Isabelle's face right now—priceless." Stella followed his gaze and sure enough, Isabelle looked like she could bite someone's head off. She couldn't help but smirk. "You do know how to stir the pot." It was obvious now: Edward was totally playing Isabelle. But it wasn't like he was really trying to take her do
