Although we were in a VIP patient room, it was clear that the tall and huge Felix didn't sleep well by the side of the narrow bed. His eyebrows were knitted together tightly, with dark circles shadowing his eyes. I shifted slightly, and Felix instantly woke up. Before I could say anything, he reached out to touch my forehead. "You're not feverish anymore. Wait here. I'll get the doctor." The doctor came over quickly. After examining me in detail, he said to Felix, "Mr. Affleck, there's no major problem with your wife's health. She should watch her diet and try to stay in good spirits over the next few days. She shouldn't eat those kinds of medicines anymore. It's too harmful to the body." Felix thanked the doctor and sent him out. I gripped the blanket tightly in panic. What did the doctor mean? Did he find out that I was taking birth control pills? But by now, I had taken those pills a few days ago. They must've digested already. Even if a blood test was done, it shoul
