"Your sister?" Justin asked incredulously.


"Yes, Nina and Selena are my sworn sisters. We came from the same orphanage but we are closer than real brothers and sisters anyway." Brian replied calmly. "Seems like she didn't tell you. You are not that close after all." He sounded happy at the end.


Justin turned to look at Nina and asked incredulously,


"You didn't cheat?"


Selena rolled her eyes at him and said furiously,


"Of course, little darling would never cheat. I was the one who came up with that plan to mislead you to think she cheated. She only agreed because of how much she was hurt. YOU are the one who cheated, not her!"


Justin and Brian stiffened but for different reasons.


Brian turned to look at Nina and asked coldly,


"He hurt you? He frigging hurt you!"

Three months had gone by in a blink of an eye since Nina started living with the Walters.


She was now six months along, her stomach had swollen to a considerable size although she still looked almost the same. The difference was only in her bosom which were obviously fuller, swollen stomach and waist that had gotten thicker.


After vomiting for the third time that morning, she weakly trudged to the living room and plopped down under the watchful eyes of Selena and Sophie.


"How do you feel now?" Selena asked worriedly.


"Terrible. There is nothing in my stomach so I have been vomiting bile. Ah! being pregnant is such a chore"


"It must be the baby. Don't know if it is a boy or girl causing you so much trouble? I don't even know why you won't check the gender of the baby", Sophie snorted

Nina and Selena were the one who arrived first at the Walters' mansion. The maid excitedly brought them inside the house.


"Madam, miss Nina and miss Selena is here", She announced happily the moment they were at the door.


"Nina is here?" Sophie's excited voice asked from the living room. And before Nina could even make sense of what is happening, she came barreling towards her and hugged her tightly.


"I missed you so much!"


Nina looked helplessly at Selena for help but the latter only shrugged indifferently. Her expression seemed to say, 'Its your problem, not mine.'


Nina could only turn to look at the woman in her arms who still can't stop acting like a child and said with a hint of  helplessness in her voice, "I missed you too." 


"Let me take you to meet my fiancé", Sophie suddenly raised her head and excitedly grabbed Nina's hands and brought her inside without waiting for her response.


The moment they stepped into the living room, Nina and Selena both froze the moment they saw Brian, but Sophie who was too excited to notice tugged at her and brought her in front of Brian and Mrs Walters.


"Nina, this is my fiancé. His name is Brian Coleman."


Nina continued to stare dumbly at Brian. It was also at that moment that Sophie began to notice that something was wrong. She turned to look at Nina whose eyes were already tearing up with confusion in her eyes.


"What is wrong, Nina? What happened to you?" She asked with obvious worry.


Then, under the astonished look of Sophie and Mrs Walters, they watched as Brian went over to Nina and gently hugged her into his arms.


"Seemed like you really missed me alot, Little darling. You even started tearing up the moment you saw me." He said with a hint of teasing.


"Hmph! Your little darling was bullied but you were no where to be found. What kind of a man are you?" Selena snorted angrily.


Brian froze and turned towards Selena and asked with anger evident in his voice, "What happened? Who bullied her? !"


Mrs Walters who had been ignored:"....".

'What the hell is going on? Who am i? Where am I? Who exactly are the fiancé and fianceé? So damn confused!' 

She then looked worriedly towards her daughter expecting to see a distraught look on her face but shook her head helplessly when she saw her still lookinb sincerely worried at Nina who was still in Brian's arms. It probably never crossed her mind that there was something wrong with how they interacted.


This was when Sophie noticed Justin who had been standing at the door since God knows when.


"Brother!" She ran excitedly towards him and embraced him. The siblings relationship had always been stronger especially since their father's death and Justin had always also been Sophie's idol. In fact, one of the reasons she left home back then was so she could become someone like her brother..

Brian noticed how Nina stiffened and cautiously got out of his arms to look at the man. That was when he remembered that his little darling was supposedly the fianceé of his fiancee's brother. Since he couldn't get angry at his little darling, he would of course direct his anger towards the man.


Sophie who was in Justin's arms raised her head to look at her brother and asked happily, 


"When did you come back? Why did no one inform us?"


Justin gently stroked her hair but his words was anything but.


"If I allowed them to announce my presence, how can I get to witness such a heartwarming scene?" 


Mrs Walters: "...."  'Damn, This wasn't what I had in mind! Something is damn wrong" She swore in her heart, all etiquettes and whatsoever forgotten.


She turned to look at the cause of this messy situation and thought, ' I can't let this go wrong anymore. I have to clarify everything."


"Brian, did you and Nina happen to know each other before?" She asked probingly.


Brian looked gently at Nina and Selena, well, mostly Nina and answered dotingly,


"Yes, we know each other, infact very well."


Justin felt his veins throbbing in anger when he heard Brian's adoring words. He felt that somehow Brian was provoking him.


"Then may I ask what sort of relationship...." She couldn't finish her words as someone who really didn't know how to read the situation cut in, again.


Excitedly grabbing Justin's hand and dragging him along in front of Brian, she introduced sheepishly,


"Brother, this is my fiancé" 


Justin froze, something was ringing in his head. He could hear nothing no more. Those words were ringing in his head, 'Brother, this is my fiancé'.  'Brother, this is my fiancé'. 'Brother, this is my fiancé'


His eyes widened incredulously and turned to Sophie as he asked pointing at Brian,


"He.... is your fiancé?" You could hear the disbelief in his voice.


Sophie could now tell something was wrong as she answered hesitantly,


"Y..es"


Justin started laughing maniacally,


Sophie was startled as this was the first time she saw her ever elegant brother lose his composure like this. She looked questionably at Brian who shrugged indifferently.


Mrs Walters also frowned and asked straightforwardly,


"Justin, what is wrong with you?"


Justin stopped laughing as he turned towards his mother and asked coldly,


"What is wrong with me?. What is wrong with me is that the person MY fianceé cheated with is going to marry MY sister! THAT is what is wrong with me!"


Mrs Walters, Brian and Sophie froze.


Nina turned to look at Selena helplessly, her expression seemed to say, 'See the mess you caused. I should never have listened to you'


Selena also looked at her, her expression also saying, 'He deserves it. I could have done much more worse, you know'


Mrs Walters, Sophie and Brian snapped out of their daze and turned to face the duo.


"Little darling, what the hell is going on? Who cheated or whatnot? Why do I find it a bit hard for me to understand what y'all are saying?"


Justin snorted as he said, "Keep on pretending."


Sophie also turned to look at Brian questionably.


"I don't know anything. Why the hell would I cheat with my own little sister! I am so not into practice incest!!!" He screamed out frustratingly.
