After leaving the infirmary, Nicola schooled her expression. She glanced around cautiously before sneaking off to Shannon, who was in the recreation lounge playing a racing game. Since her fracture, the latter hadn't been back in the training hall for a long time. Nicola approached her, looking worried. "After you left, the doctor checked Noelle again. He said she'll recover if she rests for a few more days, but he suspects something's wrong with her food and water. "Noelle has reported it to Coach Landaal. He'll probably launch a full investigation into who poisoned her." Shannon's expression froze before twisting into irritation. "That useless Jayden can't do anything right!" He couldn't even poison Noelle properly! Nicola worriedly added, "If they find out…" Shannon sternly cut her off, saying, "Jayden's poison came from Hazel, so it has nothing to do with me. Still, I didn't expect Noelle to walk away unharmed. She should've been doomed by now." Shannon fell briefly silent.
