Vincent stared at Kimberly coldly without saying another word. It was only then that she realized she had probably said the wrong thing. She tried to smooth it over by saying, "I didn't mean to forget the story you told me. I've just been so busy with the wedding preparations that my mind's a mess. Don't be mad, okay? After we're married, you can tell me the stories again. Okay?" She lightly tugged on the sleeve of his jacket playfully. But Vincent only felt repulsed by the face that was close to his.
