Chapter 197
Summer's POV
The fresh mark on my neck tingled pleasantly as I waited for Marina in Alex's study. My fingers kept drifting to touch the spot where his teeth had claimed me just the night before.
Though not yet permanent without the binding ceremony, the mark was clear enough to send a message to everyone in the Pack.
I belonged to Alexander Blackwood. Again.
A soft knock interrupted my thoughts, and Marina appeared in the doorway, her expression a mixture of curiosity and respect.
"You wanted to see me, Lu—" she hesitated, clearly uncertain about how to address me.
I smiled gently. "Summer is fine, Marina. Please, come in."
She entered, clutching a tablet to her chest. I could see the questions in her eyes as her gaze flicked briefly to my neck where Alex's mark was visible beneath my open-collared blouse.
"I've been looking through some of the Pack's charitable initiatives," I began, gesturing for her to sit across from me. "And I found something interesting about the Felix Foundation
