Chapter19: Who is Karen's Father?

BELLA'S POV "You... What are you doing here?!"  The yell dragged me out of my deep thought and my heart raced frantically. I was yet to settle myself into the bitter atmosphere of the room when Sir Gabriel's loud cry entered my ears and the suddenness startled me.  I turned my head to look at the former Alpha that made my life difficult in the Pack now lying weakly in bed just after a few years and a deep groan escaped my lips.  As much as I would have loved to laugh at him, mock him just to pay him back for the hell he made me go through a few years back, my professional personality wouldn't let me and all I could do was move closer to him.  "Sir Gabriel, I'm here to treat you." I had no intention of greeting him because what was I supposed to say? I miss him? He looked worse than the last time I saw him. He just wasn't worth my speech and I wasn't ready to waste that on him.  His pale face turned red with anger, he was looking at me as if I was a lost ghost or an unwanted alien. His
