Evelyn sat on a bench in Melcina with two small kittens cradled in her arms. In front of her was a poster that read, "Kittens for Adoption—Proceeds to Charity!" Suddenly, a figure approached and stood before her. "Are you adopting out the mother too?" Evelyn looked up and met Adrian's deep eyes. Her face flushed slightly as she glanced around before lowering her voice. "The kittens' owner went to the restroom. I'm just watching them for her." Adrian sat down beside Evelyn nonchalantly.
