Seraphina's POV
I felt the wind brushing against my skin, making my blood rush. I knew he was observing every inch of my body, or perhaps imagining something in his mind. His sharp gaze seemed to peel me apart, making my heart race at an alarming speed.
"I-I didn't hear you knock," I said, my voice trembling, a cold sensation touching my skin.
"Yes, I didn't knock," he said in a heavy voice, and I could hear his breath catch slightly.
He walked in and closed the door slowly, as if not wanting to make a sound. "I wanted to see if the dress fits you comfortably."
I swallowed hard. It wasn't the dress that made me uncomfortable, but his wild stare—like a wolf looking at its prey.
"I can help you," he said, motioning with his fingers for me to turn around.
"But—"
