ROSALINE'S POV
"Ohh shit!"
I stumbled. My hands instinctively reached out, but it was too late. I fell on a hard rock chest. I looked up to see who I just fell on, and it was Gabriel, his familiar scent greeting me.
"I bet you saw me coming," I replied, regaining my footing.
He scoffed.
"And I bet you didn't realize that there was an obstacle in your path. I have been standing right here all the while. You were the one who ran into me, not the other way round. An apology would suffice," he said.
I huffed.
"Stalking me?" I asked.
"You wish, don't you?" he replied sarcastically.
"Then why do you always seem to be in my way?" I questioned.
"The last I checked, your name wasn't imprinted on any passageway here," he answered with a light grin on his face.
I knew this question-and-answer would continue for eternity. Gabriel had all the time, but I didn't. I needed to see Alpha Konan urgently. I ignored him and tried to walk past him, when he fully stopped me in my tracks.
