Chapter 1016 Hands Off His Woman

Sebastian was done with his call. He expected Tamara to pout at him when he returned to the living room. He had even thought of ways to make it up to her. However, when he came out of the room, he noticed that the living room was empty. Tamara was nowhere in sight. “Tamara?” Sebastian had a bad feeling about this. He searched every room in the suite. Tamara was not in any of those rooms. As he approached the door, he spotted numerous bags strewn about in front of it, accompanied by a solitary shoe. Bags… Her shoe! The shoe belonged to Tamara, and the bags were filled with her purchases earlier that day. Sebastian immediately realized what was up. He narrowed his eyes dangerously and rushed out. Inside the security room, two guards were involved in some lame conversation. All of a sudden, the door was kicked down. “What are you doing?” The two guards jumped in surprise and pulled out their batons. However, they were no match for Sebastian. Sebastian made quick work of them. He punched one in the face and kicked the other. He glared at the guards darkly. “Show me the security footage from an hour ago.” The guards initially wanted to fight back, but they immediately stopped themselves upon seeing the beast-like glare Sebastian was giving them. How could they possibly win against him? They got up from the floor and led Sebastian inside. They pulled up the security footage caught outside of Sebastian’s room. Sebastian ordered coldly, “Speed up the footage.” The guard immediately did as told. Soon, a trio appeared on the screen. All of them were carrying some bags. They rang the doorbell. “Slow down the footage. I want to have a clear look at their faces. Please call the cops now!” ordered Sebastian. One of the guards mustered up the courage and asked, “What’s happening exactly, sir?” “My wife went missing in your hotel! If anything happens to her, I’ll have your heads!” Sebastian’s voice was void of any emotions. The two guards knew how serious the situation was. They quickly cropped out the men’s faces and called the cops. They tracked the men until they left the hotel. They had to get permission from the authorities to check the footage from the streets. Sebastian pulled out his phone and made a call. Five minutes later, the mayor of the town called him. “Hello, Mr. Lynch. I heard of what happened. I have ordered my men to look into it, and I will inform you immediately when we have caught them!” promised the mayor sincerely. Sebastian hung up the call. He exited the hotel and recalled where the men were headed. All he could think about was the scene where Tamara fell unconscious and was being carried away by the men. “Damn it! How dare they lay their hands on her?” he thought to himself. Sebastian’s gaze darkened. He made another call. “I’m going to send you an address, Jeremiah. Find out who is in charge of this area!” Jeremiah sighed and asked, “What happened?” Sebastian muttered coldly, “You have ten minutes. The time is ticking.” Jeremiah groaned and thought to himself, “What the fuck?” Sebastian hung up the phone and waited patiently. After about eight minutes, Jeremiah called him back. “It’s complicated. They don’t have a specific person who calls the shot. The area is made up of many small gangs. There are about eight of them, and…” Jeremiah explained the dynamic of the place to Sebastian. Once he was done, he probed, “So, care to tell me what happened exactly?”
